The spring housing market is here. I am finding myself wanting more at this point. Each week I am telling clients this is the week more will come on the market in Wellesley, Weston, Dover and Needham, but each week the number of new listings isn't what I expected.
The snow is to blame for part of the delay. Each time we hunker down to start this spring market it snows. Last year the market really started in January. But do you remember that winter? It was mild and dry...spring seemed to start in February.
It is that $1.5 Million dollar market and under that is starving for new listings. Our high end homes in Wellesley, MA and Weston, MA is swelling and below that buyers are thirsty for inventory.
That said, it doesn't seem buyers are willing to pay more for that house even though there are 3-4 offers on homes, they are still price sensitive and won't over pay....yet.
So, I am ready to get this real estate market. Let's go sellers! It's a great time to put that house on.
